Why might you need retinal photography?
- A more detailed and reliable assessment of the central area of the retina is possible.
- You can see the pictures for yourself and have them explained.
- The pictures are held on file and can be used to monitor changes on later visits.
- If necessary, images can be sent to the specialist for more appropriate referrals.
